AquaPulse wins Facility of the Year for the 2nd year running
The team at AquaPulse has backed up their 2017 "Watch Around Water - Facility of the Year" win by taking out the category for a second time at this year’s Aquatics & Recreation Victoria (ARV) Industry Awards. The annual awards provide recognition from within the aquatics and recreation industry for outstanding achievement in a range of categories. The back to back safety award wins for Western Leisure Services establishes Wyndham’s reputation as a region where the challenge of creating a culture of safety and awareness amongst a fast-growing, culturally and linguistically diverse community has been met with innovative communications and operational strategies which are tailored to the specific needs of the local community.
Further recognition of the successful safety communications strategies which have been developed and executed by WLS was provided when AquaPulse featured in the Royal Life Saving Society – Australia 2017 National Aquatic Industry Safety Awards, receiving the “Best Solution to an Identified Aquatic Health and Safety Issue” award
Craig Roberts, National Manager Aquatic Industry, Royal Life Saving Society – Australia said,
“AquaPulse were recognised for their innovation of multilingual communications and water safety initiatives inclusive of their diverse community.”
At the 2018 ARV Awards held last week, Western Leisure Services CEO Bruce Mackay was also a winner, receiving the "Recognition of Outstanding Contribution to the Aquatics and Recreation Industry" award.
“Included as one of our organisation’s core values, safety is at the forefront of all that we do. We are thrilled to receive this recognition and to continue to provide leading industry services to the Wyndham community”.
