At all WynActive facilities we have implemented healthy eating indicators. These colour-coded indicators allow members and guests to identify in a simple way which food and drink should be consumed on a regular or limited basis.

The ‘traffic lights’ indicators are simple:

GO FOR GREEN – Have plenty! These foods and drinks are an excellent source of nutrients. They are also low in saturated fat, sugar and salt. These foods and drinks help to avoid an intake of excess calories.

CUT DOWN ON AMBER – Do not let these foods and drinks dominate choices. Avoid large serving sizes. These foods have some nutritional value, have moderate amounts of saturated fat, sugar or salt and can, in large serving sizes contribute to an excess intake of calories.

EAT LESS RED – These foods lack adequate nutritional value and are high in saturated fat, sugar or salt. These foods contribute excess calories and should be limited.
